Zeeta Maharaj

Zeeta has spent the majority of her working life immersed in the North American urban music scene. She co-founded the music magazine 'Vinyl' at the age of 15, interviewing internationally-renowned artists such as Mary J. Blige and Usher.

Zeeta holds a degree in Radio and TV Broadcasting from the National Institute of Broadcasting in Toronto and is currently enrolled in Concodia University's Applied Human Sciences program. Zeeta co-hosts the 'More Fyah' radio show on Concordia's radio station, CJLO. She also co-hosts the TV show 'Soul Call' on CJNT in Montreal.

    - Do you play any instruments?

    Nope, I wish I did though - maybe one day.

    - What is your favorite way to discover new music?

    Through the recommendations of friends, when they glow about a track or artist its priceless.

    - How many concerts and local shows do you attend per year?

    15-20

    - Mac or PC ?

    Mac - but with hesitations... I don't know all the tricks yet.
